The owner David. He personally upgraded our room to a spa suite for our honeymoon, complete with a jacuzzi tub and an amazing steam shower that lit up in soothing colors. One evening, we dined at the on-site restaurant and felt transported to a different world. The food was a celebration for the senses, especially the Tuscan pasta which I can still taste.

It was on the pricier side, but in this case, totally worth it.

A wonderful hotel. The room was gorgeous, the food superb and David the owner could not be more charming and helpful. Its not cheap but it is worth it.

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay at La Corte dei Papi. We have already told all of our friends how wonderful the place is and especially David the owner. He really knows how to make you feel totally at home as if you were staying with friends. The restaurant is 5 star and so is the service and if you want to go into Cortona for dinner David will make any reservations for you as he knows everyone in town. He also arranged a great wine tour for us. We will definatly be going back soon.

The gardens offered peaceful morning strolls.

The so-called beautiful cottage was nothing special-just expect some flowers to be missing from the garden, totally unacceptabll for a place like this. I nearly gave them a good review, but not being offered a room upgrade was a dealbreaker, as i clearly deserve that upon check-in.

Can't recommend highly enough for overnight stay

Charming hotel, attentive staff, with a lovely breakfast experience among beautiful gardens, enhanced our stay as David personally ensured every detail was just right, including assisting with easy transportation arrangements.

It was all perfect.

Loved the infinity pool and amazing massages, but the Wi-Fi was spotty.

The elegant decor, including warm stone buildings and museum-inspired furniture. The well-maintained grounds were a delight to stroll through, accessible and serene for all, especially for us seniors.

Staying here was like living in a dream! The elegant setting and fine tapestries added a rich touch of history. I still remember sipping amazing cocktails in the cozy atmosphere, while our family dog enjoyed the cute space around us.

My kids wished for more outdoor activities.

We were amazed by the fine gardens and the delicious breakfast with a variety of freshly baked pastries. The hospitality from david and the staff.

Our stay was magical with stunning gardens and really good dining, especially the local pasta. Just a bit pricey, but definitely worth every penny!
